New Approach to Cat Allergy Shots

I spotted this yesterday. Cats is one of my biggest allergies and I've been on and off shots that included cats for the past 18 yrs! I'm excited to hear this new breakthrough.

This is a news broadcast video.

Cat dander can cause itchy eyes and runny noses for some people, but a new study is testing a substance added to cat allergy shots that could spell the end of sneezing and sniffling, Erin Kennedy reports (1:52). WCCO 4 News At 6 – Nov. 26, 2016

Oooh, this is very interesting! I'm intrigued that the added ingredient may reduce allergic reactions and side effects. Maybe it would allow DD to have allergy shots again one day! Right now her doctors say no …

I would love this because I have so many friends with cats. Yet  I would be thrilled to have something to cure dog allergies !

Welcome Michelle! It's hard for me to visit homes where they have cats. Do you currently get allergy shots? Or have they been recommended to you? I know mine have both cat and dog in them.

Yes I have on and off since the age of four. Currently for the past 20 years with a small 3 year break in between, I will never stop shots. They have cat and dog serum in them as well.

I've been on and off them several times over they years too….and I always wind up going back to them. I'm overdue for my shots and I can tell

I always host everything because I can not visit anyone with animals. When I go I end up in bed on antibiotics it's just not worth it anymore.
