A Thank You to Everyone Here Who Offers Each Other Support

I was listening to a good, old song

that made me think how at one time or another we each "Like a bridge over troubled waters" ease another person's mind when that person is having a hard time.

So, I would like to send a big THANK YOU to each and every one of you who offers support to the rest of us.  I know that each of us has opportunity to be on one side or the other of this equation at one time or another.  We often offers thanks to each other in our posts but I just wanted to send a big THANK YOU to everyone.

When you offer your support and empathy to me, even though we live in far-distant places,  I somehow feel like you are "standing right behind" me supporting me through my trials and tribulations.

I am grateful for all of you.  THANK YOU!!

Thank you for sharing that Lisa! And BTW I  that song!

Support and understanding is so important in the journey of managing disease. And with a chronic disease like asthma, we get to be on both sides as our own journey ebbs and flows.

I'm grateful for those like you and others here that "pay it forward" and are always willing to offer support – especially on those days when you may need support yourself.

Absolutely the same for me-I don't know what I would do without all of you-you have given me so much more confidence  and have improved my life so much-I am forever grateful for each one of you!

Yes, cheers to our group here!!! It is so hard to be surrounded by people in daily walking life who don't know–or don't understand– asthma, allergies, triggers, and what we go through to breathe. And to be around that daily makes it very hard to maintain the strength and confidence in standing up for one's health and well-being. It is tiring. And this group is like a breath of fresh air. This group has really helped me.. With your knowledge, with your empathy, with you questions and guidance…  Thank you all so much!!!

I thought of another thing to thank all of you for.

Here on these forums we can explain some fairly graphic symptoms to each other; symptoms that normally would not be discussed in polite company.  But since we all understand that we need to know about these things in order to help each other, we open our hearts and minds and listen and respond appropriately.

    Thank you.

I agree Lisa! We get more compassion and understanding here than we do any where else.

I’ll second that.  We all understand what each other is talking about because chances are, we’ve been there done that or at the very least, we understand what something means.
