And Cue Weed Season!

Ugh! Fall allergies are definitely in full swing here! It's mainly weed pollen here plus elm. My eyes itch, my ears itch

We are keeping the windows closed during the day – mainly to keep the heat out, but it helps with keeping pollen out too. This time of year, we get winds off the bay in the afternoon which really stirs things up. I've stepped up my nasal rinses and am keeping my allergy shots on track so they aren't spread out. Plus all the usual to wash bedding and not toss clothes worn outside onto the bed.

Are fall allergies hitting you? What are you doing to try to combat them?

Yes!! we have to keep the windows closed. I had to up my allergy meds and add in a oral decongestant. Also have to make sure I am using my allergy eye drops twice daily so i can open my eyes when I wake up.

I love this time of year but my body does not.

I took my xyzal this morning, then a few hours later had to take a bendaryl to calm things down. I am finally feeling better.

I turned off our a/c today and opened the windows. I hope I don't regret it later. But I am in desperate need of some fresh air.
