Hi Melissa! I am doing well. I am looking forward to starting my new job on Monday. How about you? How are you feeling?

  • Melissa G

Oh Faye, that is exciting! Congratulations on the new job! Good luck tomorrow!

I am doing well, thanks for asking!

  • Faye

Hi Melissa, I am liking it so far. My cowokers are nice and I'm learning new things at my work. How about you? How's your health? Is everything going well for you?

  • Melissa G

    Faye, that's great!

We are doing good. Having some struggles this week due to all of the rain we are receiving. but I hoping as soon as this weather pattern changes, things will clear up.

  • Faye

I'm sorry…It's been raining a lot here as well. Last night the thunderstorms were so loud we kept waking up. I hope things get better for you.I read somewhere that rain and thunderstorms sometimes make asthma worse that's why I can't wait for fall. It's my favorite season! What's yours?

  • Melissa G

Faye, you are correct. . I never knew there was a coorelation. But it does make sense. It is pouring here right now. I am so over the rain.

I like the winter, spring and fall. The summer is just too hot anymore. I like when the leaves change color and the briskness in the air in the fall. I absolutely love the snow! And spring, I love when it starts to warm up and the flowers start to bloom.

  • Faye

Agree. I avoid going outside when it's really hot because it's harder to breathe. It's comforting to know that we have something to look forward too. Soon it will be September

That is a bad feeling when you open your front door and the heat and humidity slap you in the face and then you feel like your breath was taken away.

  • Faye

Agree with you. It rained hard today and the humidity went down a bit. Btw, I am looking for asthma community events in my area but couldn't find any. Do you have any ideas where to look for events?

  • Melissa G

Faye, here are some resource for you to help you find events in your area.

If this is not what you are looking for, let me know.
